Tax Governance Conference Copenhagen

THE QUICK TAKE
I was in charge of building a brand new visual identity for Tax Governance events, which involved designing a new
logo and a variety of promotional materials, such as display banners for online/social media, email designs, and print material (rollups and brochures).
Tax Governance is an annual paid business conference hosted by Økonomisk Ugebrev, which targets business leaders and Tax managers from Danish corporations and institutions.

This was a brand new project where I took the lead as the main designer, and was responsible for creating everything from the ground up — from logo design, to producing banners and print.
The aim was to spread the awareness of a new Tax Governance event, catered to business people on the management level and associated with tax governance. The event was branded as an informative conference for leaders who wished to network, and learn more about current tax governance trends and issues.
The purpose behind the promotional materials was to inform a busy, no-nonsense audience of executives about an exclusive Tax Governance event, in which several high-profile speakers from well-known companies would be sharing their thoughts on ongoing tax themes.

In addition to display banners and email designs, I also produced animated HTML5 banners for the website and emails, with different themes to promote the attending speakers and tax themes.
Attendees would receive a Tax Governance compendium, featuring a selection of relevant articles about current tax themes, which was professionally printed and handed out as part of the goodie bag during the conference.
Tax Governance turned out to be a huge success — surpassing the initial sales expectations and receiving lots of support in follow-up surveys to attendees. Its success cemented the necessity of a medium to discuss Tax Governance at the highest level, with the next iteration slated for March 2021.
